I am currently going through the Wealthy Affiliates training modules myself. Just the other day, I placed a scheduled call to a “higher up” team manager/mentor. I am studying and building my first website as I go through the steps that are outlined. Very informative by the way. The BIG selling points with me was the following:

#1 You are DEFINITELY not put out and left hanging to figure everything out on your own. Before I could continue to further chapters and steps, I received several messages from my Mentor/Team leader to check on my understanding and comprehension of the previous lessons. There are places to where, if you are at a standstill and can’t figure something out, type out a question in the forum area, literally hundreds of people are there to answer your questions in a rapid timely manner…Did I mention that’s just the first of many reasons that I decided on WA?

#2 You are provided NOT 1 BUT 2 websites that you can build using their site using easy to follow directions with all the bells and whistles right at your fingertips.I have never even tried to set up a site but it’s not hard using the tools that they provide. Keyword searches, etc. It’s your site using your niche. You don’t just pay someone and copy the same old site, you take ownership of your ideas.

#3 certainly not the last, but there isn’t room for all of the reasons to decide on Wealthy Affiliates, I am not even a premium member…..YET! I’m learning and building and I’m being supported the entire way.
There is more training in online business education than I could complete in a long time. Do your research, decide for yourself. WA has been around for a while and their reputation as a well established online giant in their field should speak for itself. They actually want you to succeed and encourage you the entire time that you are there. After a few days of your education, it’s obvious to me that the next step is the premium membership…Oh ya, it’s not hundreds and thousands like the other “gurus” top tier plans, exactly the opposite. My girlfriend and I spend more going out to eat in one day. I think I made the right choice. Craig Miller

Here are the answers to your queries.
1. If you are from Nigeria, you can’t join Wealthy Affiliate because due to security threat they face from time to time from Nigeria, they now restricted Nigeria to join with Wealthy Affiliate completely. However, if you still want to join Wealthy Affiliate, you can ask your friends or families in other countries to help you to join Wealthy Affiliate. Once you join Wealthy Affiliate from other countries, then you can log in and work completely from Nigeria as well.
2. Like Nigeria is banned to join completely, some other countries are banned to join as a free member for some reason, to make the Wealthy Affiliate system secure. Even those who join WA free of cost, they will upgrade their account after they take 10 basic free lessons because, in order to take full benefit from WA, everyone has to upgrade their account there.

I am just wondering what are the Terms and Conditions for building a website inside Wealthy Affiliate. If say in 20 years Wealthy Affiliate decides to go down, (hopefully never happens) but looking at all sides, if it did, would my website which I build inside WA be also taken down too?
and what does this mean in regards to ownership of the websites within Wealthy Affiliate?
How will my website be affected if I decide to move a website out of WA?
I just need to know these things before making a decision to join. Thanks very much

The terms and conditions to make a website in WA are the same as other reputed website hosting companies. So, you don’t have to worry about that part.

You also don’t have to be worried that Wealthy Affiliate will go down because if ever the owners of Wealthy Affiliate decide to leave their business then, there will be lots of buyers who will be happily purchasing Wealthy Affiliate in millions of dollars. For example, if companies like WordPress, Facebook, Amazon, and so on decided to shut down, there will be a buyer for that. Companies like Yahoo have already sold out for 2 times. Similarly, there are lots of buyers for Wealthy Affiliate as well. It is a registered legal business that will not shut down without making its members comfortable.

On top of that, even you can transfer your website form WA hosting to any other website hosting companies within a day. So, you don’t have to be worried about that part.
