Get your $1,000 gift card” or “Your code ***** printed on your last receipt is among 7 randomly picked for $1000 Walmart gift card promotion” and so on, then you must know that is a scam message, not the genuine one.

There is no such Free Walmart Gift Card Promotion or any other similar kinds of prizes organize by Walmart company over a text message which proves the message claiming you are a winner of $1000 Walmart gift card is a bogus, a complete fake message, not the real one.

“Congrats *****!! Your code P6R-H8V7 printed on your last receipt is among 7 we randomly picked for $1000 Walmart gift card promotion [link removed]”

“Congrats *****!! Your code F5R-V2M9 printed on your last receipt is among 7 we randomly picked for $1000 Walmart gift card promotion [link removed]”

“Congrats *****!! Your code P5Z-X9T8 printed on your last receipt is among 7 we randomly picked for $1000 Walmart gift card promotion [link removed]”

These cybercriminals will also try to steal the money from potential victims by asking them to send some money in order to pay some fees to get those gifts and prizes. However, if you send them your money, they will just vanish with your money. So, never ever send any money to them. Real companies will never ask you to send any money in order to pay some fees or tax to get the gifts, prizes or winning amounts. Instead, they will cut the necessary fees just from your winning amount and send you the remaining balance. So, all companies which ask you to pay money first to send you some gifts or prizes or winning amounts are scams.

Actually, you should not follow any instructions provided in such scam messages. Instead, you should just delete them.
