This company is a compete sham. I too placed an order, thankfully I paid with PayPal. Tried to cancel and for the past ten days have been in a maddening email back and forth. "Would you please reconsider" is all I ever get back from them. PayPal Resolution case has been opened.

I ordered a pair of boots on Oct. 8 and paid for express shipping (4-10 business days.) I emailed them Oct 23 and got a reply saying they are busy and to be patient. There were a lot of grammar mistakes in the reply which leads me to believe it's a scam. I called my credit card to cancel the order but it had already gone trough. I doubt I'll ever get them, especially after reading all these reviews. I did a dispute with my credit card and they reversed the charges and blocked the site.

I ordered a pair of these boots in early September. They still hadn’t arrived by October 15 so I emailed them to cancel. That first email started a whole slew of back and forward emails from them, please be patient, we’ve received so many orders we’re backed up, why do you want to cancel, why not gift them to a friend or family member, the promotion has now ended these will now revert to the original price...........on and on and on. I replied each time, cancel the order and refund my credit card. Nothing worked. I contacted my credit card company and they reversed the charges for me. Honestystar can dispute this reversal, they have 45 days to do so, if they do then I have to prove to MasterCard that it’s a fraud.
The emails from honestystar were extremely poor grammar and at the bottom of them all they asked me to rate their quality of service by return email. What a crock of s**t!!!

Man, I wish I had found this website before I ordered! I don't have a lot of money and most of my shoes hurt my feet. I decided (after many days of debating) to go ahead and spend the money to finally get a comfortable pair of shoes for work. That was October 5th. No shipment, no anything from them other than the initial 'thank you for your order' email. Just emailed them asking when my order will be shipped. I am sure I will get the same run around as all the others have gotten. #learnedmylesson

Sorry I didn't see this before ordering from Honestystar. They are definitely a scam. I ordered on Oct 7 and asked them to cancel and refund my money on Oct 17 after they sent me an email saying be patient. There have been about 15 emails going back an forth with them. The last one wanted to know what my order was. They always have some type of answer but have not refunded my money. I have sent a claim to Paypal and am waiting for an answer from them before I go through my bank. What a shame we need to put up with unscrupulous people.

I paid with my credit card and noticed there was a phone number by the side of my order when I looked at my visa account on line, so I called it and it was PayPal. I told them my story and they paid me back within 3 days of my phone call.. Avoid this ‘company’ at all cost..

I ordered a pair also; now praying my info is safe. Their website said you wouldn't be charged until shipment, but I was charged right away, which raised a big red flag. If you look at their "about us" on their website, they say the sell all types of automotive accessories! Guess I just donated $22.00. Thank goodness it wasn't more.
I response to cancelling your order, good luck! I told them to refund my money and I get the same candid reply that they are extremely busy and to be patient.
I called my bank hoping they can help.

I placed an order and later asked to cancel it. I have requested cancellation 5 times. I have not received the order but they have charged my credit card. They respond to each request to cancel by telling me how pleased I will be with the product. Finally on my 4th attempt they suggested I accept the order (which I have not received) and give it to someone else. Wish I had checked reviews first. I will contest their charge. Ps my first clue was when PayPal notified me the order would show up on my account as a hotmail email address.

Recvd. text saying customer service was on vacation September 30 to Oct 6th but shipping was working orders. They said they were backed up with orders and asked me to be patient.
Sent text November 1 asking where order is. Is it getting shipped or still being filled. Reply, please be patient, we are backed up with orders. It has been exactly 30 days and no shoes or information. After reading reviews I think I better contact my credit union. This really makes me upset, to know I've been duped!

1st. It took forever to arrive. 37days to be exact. The moment I saw the package i knew it wasnt going to be good. 2. I open the package and my order wasnt right. 3rd. This was the cheapest product materials. So not worth what I paid for. 4th. The chemical smell is overwhelming. No way can I put these shoes on my feet. I just received my shoes after waiting for 2.5 months, and like everyone is saying the quality is extremely poor, they look NOTHING like the advertisement and the are way too big. Not happy and now I can't get a hold of the company so that I can return them and get my money back.
It's just not worth shopping online anymore. Too many untrustworthy people in the world. AND it too much work researching companies before buying.

The took the money out of my account over a month ago and, customer service email is just general saying they have a lot of orders. I don’t have a problem with back orders, but a problem when you take my money for product you don’t have! This company is a scam!

Scams!!! i ordered a pair of shoes a month ago and the status of the order is still : order confirmed. They never sent it. I sent an email and they claim that due to busy season they dont send it but they ll do their best to send it. I asked a refund of my money and they try to avoid it by sending messages to wait for a while or that i will lose the discount that i took when i ordered them!!! They dont give money back nomatter what you do.

I ordered a pair of boots from Honestystar.com in late September. The site said they would arrive within 21 days. When I didn't receive them I contacted the company to find out what was going on. I received a very nice apology from customer service stating that they were behind on orders due to a huge sale. I was contacted by them again when my order shipped complete with a tracking number. My boots arrived today, they were the correct size and color and matched the photo and description perfectly.

I order 2 pair of boots on Oct 6th. My account was charged, on Oct 24th, I inquired about my order and received a generic email about high popularity of the shoes and it may take longer. Today, Nov 11th, still no shoes, no correspondence from HonestyStar. Disputing this, I want my money back, they can keep their shoes. I will purchase from a reputable company from now on. Very disappointing, especially when I have seen ads with the exact same shoes under a different name.

I have gotten the run around from Honestystar saying "In order to guarantee the quality of products and delivery, we would do strict testing before the shipment, your goods is packing & waiting in line for delivery, please wait patiently." As of this morning I get a message saying the order has shipped and provided me with a tracking number that takes me to a site with this message "This number can't be found at this moment. It's not available in the carrier's system yet. Please check back later." I've cancelled my order and will contact my bank about the fraudulent activity!

Ordered on 10-13 was told 5 to 20 days on the 10th of November I did receive notifications that my shoes are in Summer Washington, then the 11th to Portland It showed times and places on the 11th it showed they are at the USPS have tracking number I asked my son to come and wait for the mail on Tuesday 11-12 they should be delivered. As I was at work it stated they were delivered but 2 different times arrived at home that evening to no package call the postal service and found out they show a package was delivered at 4:30pm hum weird and no so I filed a complaint to see if they can find out where the mail person delivered my shoes? I ordered the blue boots from an ad in my games on September 29 and just received them today - November 16.
They promised 5-20 days!!

They aren’t as cute as featured in the ad. They are cheap plastic. I wouldn’t wear them anywhere out except perhaps as Houseshoes - and only if no one is looking.

They were responding via email at cs@honeystar.com and gave me a tracking number. After many weeks my shoes were in LA and then Hawaii and then LA again and then Indiana and then to me. Ridiculous.

Save your money. You get what you pay for.

I brought a pair of the green boots shoe. The boots that I received is nothing like the picture shown. The picture is showing the inside of boot out of a different material that is sent to the consumer and material of the boot that is showing is entirely different from the boots you receive. The boots show a star logo which is not on the pair that I receive. The boot sole in the picture is not the same as the one that is displayed in the picture. Buyers BEWARE!! I waited to get a product that was not what the picture is displaying on the website. The picture you see is not what you get. That's how I got scammed!!

I have issues with my feet and these booties, advertised as leather, looked like they would work well for my needs. I rarely order online, but decided I needed to try. Delivery took over 8 weeks, that was my first concern. Upon receiving the package I could smell the odor through the plastic the shoes were in as well as the plastic envelope used to ship. The chemical odor is so strong they have had to remain on my porch.

The shoe is NOT what was in the pictures nor advertised. They are total plastic and ridiculous looking. Lesson learned. They are also 3 inches too long , I ordered my size by the chart. China is literally killing us here in the USA. They manufacture fake products with dangerous chemicals that are sent for us to have in out households. They do NOT have safety nor quality control guidelines and they simply produce crap! Many chemicals they use are known cancer causing agents. IF I can prevent others from making this mistake I will feel better about loosing my 45.00. All attempts at contacting them have failed and shipping costs bck to China are unrealistic and this is what they are banking on. They know this and are scamming everyone ordering from them. Instead of creating good relations with us they prefer the dishonest route, do NOt LET THE NAME FOOL YOU. ANYTHING FROM CHINA IS A SCAM EXCEPT MAYBE OUR ELECTRONICS.

Well let me tell you, after paying for express delivery, and a couple of emails to them, it still took almost 2 months to receive the darn boots that look nothing but cheap cheap cheap. They’re not comfy like they said they would be. They feel like I’m stepping over cardboard. You can see the white glue between the top and bottom. They look like vinyl instead of leather. If only i read this sooner. 10/13/19 i ordered a super cute pair and cheap. What seemed like seconds, they took the money from my acct. It wasnt until 5 days later i realized there was no phone number and they were coming from China. We emailed back and forth about 6 times and they were very polite and punctual. I had a tracking # so i saw my "booties" leave China and land at my address. They said it was delivered 11/8, usps said delivered 11/8, but nothing. I talked to the carrier 2 days later and she said there was no pkg, just mail...
So I called the postmaster and he ran the info i gave him and basically said i got screwed, bc they dont insure their products, so i cant put in a claim. All avenues show the shoes were delivered, so I could be lying.

Boots arrived 50 days after payment. Not boots I ordered. Glue all over them, a 7 year old could have made these. Don't bother sending them back. There is a clause that they only return a portion and it comes out to 15% of total. Go to your credit card company.

I wish I'd seen these reviews before placing an order for my mother's birthday. After nearly a month with no communication or shoes I filed a claim with PayPal. That finally got me a response from HonestyStar customer support and they said to me that the item received "high number of orders" that my item may take longer than expected and asked for patience. By this point, I'd started looking online to research them and asked for my money back. They refused to cancel my order and refund my money; After 2 weeks of asking for and demanding my order be cancelled and my payment be refunded I get this response: "Dear customer, Hope everything goes well. We usually do not refund once order confirmed and paid. Could you wait for some days? Then you will get the order soon." They then sent me a tracking number. When the shoes finally arrived (literally the day before they had to respond to the claim on PayPal), HonestyStar wasted no time giving the tracking information to PayPal, who closed the case in HonestyStar's favor. The shoes: not what we ordered. They looked more like cheap rubber boots than the shoes in the photo and instead of being black with blue accents were all blue.

If you are considering ordering from HonestyStar, don't. Spend your money elsewhere.

I too have been scammed. I order 5 pairs of their boots in a size 10.5. After almost 2 months and a couple of lying emails the boots finally arrived in plastic bags and all 5 pair were too big. I measured them and all 5 of them are size 11. I contacted Honeystar immediately first they requested pictures of all five pairs and I showed them the measurements were a size 11 and they were clearly too big and they offered me. $5.00 USA gift card and recommended I give the boots away. I asked for a full refund and their refund policy and their mailing address and I have not received any further response. I knew $90.00 for 5 pairs of boots was too good. The boots are cheap looking and I am very dissatisfied. I did go thru PayPal so I am going to see what my recourse is. I needed to read your review before I did my purchase because they would not have gotten a dime from me. Truly a scam company taking advantage of people knowing their products are no good and they refused to owe up to the fact they sent the wrong sizes and insulted me by offering me $5.00.

This company is a total RIP OFF! They say they guarantee their products, but they lie. The shipment took forever, they sent me some bogus emails with excuses and then the product arrived, it was JUNK! I purchased, unfortunately. They took 2 months to arrive and they are not cute! The extra arch support non existent and they are floppy and big.
I have written 4 emails now asking for return address and they consistently just say, it’s expensive consider keeping or gifting.
This led me to search and find this website. I’m looking I to reporting to my credit card and trying to see if there is a way or place to report them as a scam to the BBB or something. I’m not really sure where or how to report it but I just feel like what they are doing is illegal, as their website says returns , shipping at buyers cost and yet they are refusing to honor that.
As this website says they don’t have any contact info on their page.
I’m feeling pretty silly for tapping that add now!
Don’t buy!!
Or side note I found them on amazon, maybe try there since amazon will honor returns when you see how ugly and not comfortable they are.

I will NEVER do business with Honestystar,com again. Honestystar--what a laugh that name is. They don't stand behind their products. They don't believe you when you say the shoes are not only a cheap knock-off version of the one pictured, but a totally different size--over 1.5 inches too large!!! Sure they'll accept a return, but you have to ship it back to China with tracking, at your cost--which equals the cost of the shoes. What a rip-off!!! I should have know better. I never expected them to be as nice as the photo, but I did expect them to be the size I ordered!!

I sent their shoes back to the return label on the package they came in and now they're wanting the address! I gave them the tracking number and told them the product was sent back in original packaging to return address. Now they're playing dumb and acting like they cannot receive the shoes! Hence, no refund! I'm fed up with getting the run-around from these people!!!
They are a foreign internet scam for sure!

I ordered 3 pairs of boots.. I've emailed several times and received a response that they are on their way. I downloaded the ARRIVE app to track them... they are, truly, on the "slow boat from China". As of this morning, they are due to be delivered on Monday, Dec 9. And were ordered on October 10th, I believe... They arrived in California yesterday.. we shall see what they look like.. I'm nervous with all the bad reviews here.. 🙁

This is the email i recieved today. I ordered 2 pair of boots on oct. 7th. I live in a small ski town and expressed in my first email (11/11) that if my items dont come soon, there will be too much snow to wear them and I'll just take a refund. Its now dec. No shoes, no refund, the email before this they offered a $3.00 gift card. Haha, theyve bumped it to $5 this is the first time theyve mentioned me paying for shipping back, but the items have never made it... what a waste of money and time. Ill keep informing of updates. Don't do it. I am retail and tell people all the time if it's too good to be true it is. It took 8 weeks and when it arrived they were cheap knock offs with no arch support and about 3 sizes too big. They have a nice return policy but don't abide by it. I paid over $51.00 for two pairs of shoes plus shipping. They offered a $6 store credit buy no refund. I am going to be there worst nightmare e-mailing everyday until I get an answer. They have NO phone number only an e-mail address.

I ordered these shoes online and paid extra for expedited shipping. I was in a rental house on vacation for a month and a half, my shoes never showed up. I tried to cancel them and they said they had shipped. After I checked out of the house supposedly they were left at the door, but the VRBO company said nothing had arrived. I tried to get my money back and they said to take it up with the post office. Then I tried to at least get my shipping charges back and they would not even do that. Do not buy from this company!!!

Placed an order in October 2019 and to this day have not received it, went through paypal so I feel confident that my info is ok but when i track the order that was supposed to take 5 t0 20 business days it still hasn't left China. The customer service team does respond but now I am being told to check with local USPS to find my package. Again which hasn't left China, I am escalating this to paypal resolution center to get a refund. I would not recommend ordering whti this company EVER!!

received my boots, I ordered through honestystar....they are definitely not as advertised,
a) not leather
b) no arch support
c) no warm lining
d) waterproof? I doubt it!!
In other words after shelling out almost $70.-- CDN for 2 pairs, I got 2 pairs of cheaply made vinyl (synthetic) booties that don't even come close to all they were advertised as...My bad!!! should have been more careful!!! One of the reasons I don't and will never order online again.
Shame on me and double shame on the fraudulent companies who mislead with false promises.

I ordered a pair of shoes and a pair of boots on Oct. 18, 2019. The order didn't ship until 12/5/2019. I just received the package 12/16/19. The shoes were nothing like their picture. Very cheap materials and they are a size too big, even though I ordered the correct US size. Also, the boots were not in with the order, even though the tracking said that they were shipped with the shoes. I am extremely disappointed with the order and service. I just sent Honestystar an email although I doubt if I'll get a satisfactory response. I do NOT recommend this site at all. What a waste of my $60. I also think that they charged me more than the advertised price. I really wish I would have read the review first. Very angry at myself for being so stupid!

I ordered 2 pair for $53 on Oct.13. I finally received them Dec. 18. One was the right style but looked different. The other was totally wrong and UGLY. PayPal resolution says I can send them back and receive a refund but I have to pay to ship them back. Lesson learned.

Ordered, tried to cancel when they were not delivered in over a month. Got the run around for three weeks,even contacted Paypay to see if I could cancel, no go. Then they sent a note that the order was shipped and I would receive them "shortly". Three weeks later, I could wait no longer and got a pair of boots locally. I sent a note that I still had not received any package, even though they sent me a delivery confirmation. I was told to check with local post offices to see if they were being "Held". I wish they had held them, the following week I got the "boots" they look like the same construction and material that you would find on a china doll. The flexible thick cushioned soul and warm liner? Try 1/8" warped plastic soul with raised bridges and thin insole so you cant see them. Stitched upper? Um... try molded rubber to look like stiches. Warm liner? Use an old sock, your better off.
And as to their return and cancellation policies? FORGET IT not worth the time it would take to read it, all you will get from the customer service is So sorry you no happy, not our fault, but we will give you a 4 dollar, 6 dollar, 8 dollar okay how about ten dollar credit and you can use the shoes you got as a gift? Gift? to who? your worst enemy? and WHY!?!?! Why would I want a credit to use for more plastic shoes? why would anyone give them more money for crap!
Sorry, after a month of trying to send these back, contacting paypal who is siding with honestystar and getting nowhere, I get a bit worked up. I hope you read this before you buy, if you don't try to get it canceled on your credit card because hscustomer service will not be any help at all.

Upon finally receiving the inferior boots , I was appalled at the stinky plastic boots. Not at all as featured in their ad. I then tried to return and they said it’s too costly to send back to China. I bought 2 pairs of boots back in October and as you have all recognized they are clearly not what they advertised. Not sure if you have noticed but Amazon is still carrying their products. Did anyone order through Amazon? I am tempted to order a pair just to see if the quality of the boots is the same as they sent. Amazon has a return policy.

I have decided not to let this go and continue to send emails back with very unfriendly responses. There has got to be a way to get people to stop buying from - they are a company of liars and cheats and should be shut down!
