Similar to the above, we received a text from “RoyalMail” holding a parcel until payment of a shipping fee and a link to “reschedule-parcel-shipping.com”.
No mention of Royal Mail in the linkaddress.

    originators number 07904368716

    1. Can you please copy-paste here the exact message that you received in the name of RoyalMail?

I clicked the link in the text message as I had received an email from Hermes to say they had my parcel. The link asked for personal detail including DOB which I filled in. It was when I was asked for payment by card for re delivery that I realised it was a scam and did not continue. Should I be worried about the details I’ve given?

    1. If you haven’t provided your credit card information or bank information, then you no need to be worried about other details. But, be ready for spam emails and text messages if you have provided them your email or phone number.

Hi there, we tried to deliver your parcel but was unsuccessful. Please visit
    https:// resendparcel-delivery .com/hermes for more information

    Text telephone number +44 7377 677868

  4. Hii….. Soo…. Here I go, was aware of the phishing attempt, but stars aligned, I was away and did indeed expect for a parcel to be delivered by Hermes…. anyway, i did end up providing my full details (including the date of birth!!!. I immediately blocked my card so they can’t use that. But I am concerned what else they can do with the info provided….

If you have blocked your card, then there is no need to be worried. Just change your card.

Received a text message on my iphone as follows: “Royal Mail: Your Parcel has been held and will not be delivered due to a £1.99 unpaid shipping fee. To pay this now, visit https:// schedule:redelivery .co.uk”.
I clicked that link using Safari but it failed. I tried it on Google on my Mac but that only produced your website.
As it happens I am expecting a parcel from China. Is this a scam?

      Yes, this message is scam.
