TryAlienTape.com Review: Alien Tape Scam or Legit?

As per our research, we don’t recommend TryAlienTape.com online store due to the reasons we have explained below. However, about AlienTape, you can try that by purchasing from a trustable online store like Amazon at a cheap price. But, we don’t think it is a good idea to rely on tape to hold heavy material up to 17.5 lbs as shown in the advertisements of AlienTape. We don’t think the product Alien Tape is so much alien-like it is claiming to be and can hold 17.5 lbs material for a longer time since similar tape with similar details and similar Nano-Grip Technology are listed on Amazon to sell but they claim to hold up to 2.2 lbs material only. So, we don’t know how the same tape with the same material that TryAlienTape is selling can hold up to 17.5 lbs. It looks like false advertising. But, if you think Alien Tape really can hold such a heavy material for a longer time, then please let us know using the comment section below. Now, let’s find out the reality of the TryAlienTape website which is selling Alien Tape products.

• TryAlienTape.com website is claiming to sell 9ft AlienTape at $19.95 and offering 2 free sets with it. However, similar tape with similar quantities can be purchased at Amazon at the price of around $5. So, TryAlienTape is not offering anything for free but forcing you to purchase 3 products together and that is also at an expensive price by tricking you to believe they are giving you something free which is completely false advertising. So, why should we purchase the same product at a higher price at the TryAlienTape website instead of purchasing that from trustable online stores like Amazon?
• As per the statement provided on the “Terms & Conditions” and “Privacy Policy” pages of the TryAlienTape website, they have mentioned their parent company’s name as “E. Mishan & Sons, Inc. (Emson)”. When we searched this parent company’s name on Google, we find out Emsoninc.com is a website that is operating by this company and the company’s address for Emsoninc is “230 5TH AVE, NEW YORK, NY 10001”. However, when you check the “Return Policy” page of TryAlienTape.com website, you will find out it has mentioned its address as “400 RETURNS RD, Wallingford CT, 06494” which doesn’t match with company’s address of “E. Mishan & Sons, Inc. (Emson)”. On top of that, we didn’t find any connection between TryAlienTape and E. Mishan & Sons, Inc. (Emson) since E. Mishan & Sons, Inc. (Emson) hasn’t mentioned anywhere about its link with TryAlienTape. So, it is hard to believe the contact information that has been provided on the TryAlienTape website.
• Emson has linked only one website as their shopping website which is “CleverBuilt.com” which has the same address as Emson and a contact phone number “866.879.3839”. But the provided contact phone number of TryAlienTape is “1-844-620-3701” which makes the contact information provided by TryAlienTape more doubtful.
• TryAlienTape has provided American Express, Mastercard, and VISA credit cards as payment options to purchase a product from its website but it has only provided SSL security and hasn’t provided other security such as Norton, McAfee, and so on to protect the client personal details. So, you might run a risk of getting your personal information stolen if you shop at the TryAlienTape website.

Due to the above-mentioned reasons, the TryAlienTape website looks very suspicious. After all, why should we buy Nano-Grip Technology tape (Alien Tape) from the TryAlienTape website at an expensive price instead of purchasing the same product from reputed online stores like Amazon? Due to this reason, we don’t recommend the TryAlienTape website and have listed it on our Not Recommended sites list.
