Have you recently got the emails from email address “[email protected]” giving you offer to take Pfizer Vaccine survey and get $90 gift card, or mentioning [email protected] has access to your account, and you need to review your recent activity to secure your account, or asking you to secure your Microsoft account, or mentioning your McAfee has discontinued, and you need to click to update your subscription, etc.?

If you have got messages similar to the above examples, then you should know those are phishing messages send with the intention to scam you. That’s why you should not click any link provided on such messages (if provided any), or download anything from such messages, or call the number provided on such messages, or reply to such messages, or follow any instruction provided on such messages.

You may also get slightly different kinds of messages, but if those messages look similar to the above example, then definitely you should delete those messages.

  • By tricking you to submit your credentials on the clone sites that look exactly similar to the renowned legit sites but with different domain names.
  • By asking you to click the malicious link provided on the message which can hack your device.
