  2. Came across Meledo claiming to be a Ravensburger Jigsaw Puzzles having a clearance sale.
I received a cooling towel! Beware, came across them on Facebook.

  4. Chomara is a company name that they are using on Facebook. They claim to be in charge of clearance items for Bed Bath & Beyond, however the items they have listed are not things that I have ever seen at BB&B. Also, $10 for an intricate iron bench seems to good to be true. I’d LOVE to find where I can really find benches like these, but alas, the only places I can find them are places that lead back to Meledo. 🙁

  5. I have been scammed by this company, big time. Ordering thru the BB&B website,,,,,Are they sort of responsible for this??

  6. I ordered a Triple screen for laptop workstation in April via sioproshopo . This was in early April. This is another site which is linked to it: amrolikc .com/page/custom/contact-us. This is their shopping website. I never received the item although when I track it, it says that item has been delivered.

  7. I purchased a fence similar to ones shown on this page. Never received it. Emailed them and they did respond but still do fence. The company I ordered from was Stereodrip but parent company is Meledo Company Limited. Will be contacting my credit card company to find out what they can possibly do. Should have known it was too good to be true.

  8. It looks like vingari .com and kvass .store are likely also a scam. Both sites reference Meledo Company Ltd. I have received and order confirmation with a tracking number but that doesn’t work. I have emailed using the address provided and had no response. Only time will tell now.

  9. Caullin .com has Meledo as their company name. Trying to sell rocking canopy chairs from “QVC” on a Facebook ad. Claims they use PayPal and to just put in your credit card information and it will go through PayPal. Ridiculous! Why Facebook allows these companies to put ads out there to scam people is shameless.

    1. Rolanda lynne Pettersson

I agree I wish Facebook could be held accountable and pay people who lost money because of these fake ads.

  10. I ordered a King Charles Spaniel artificial puppy from Burtown .com, which after researching have found it is part of the Meledo Company Limited! It took me a bit to find this information, on the Burtown .com website.

I was given a confirmation email, from support@burtown .com, after I ordered the product. I didn’t receive a tracking number at that point. So, I replied to the same address and asked for a tracking number but the reply as Tracking number: AG018450328CN, Courier: MENGTU. When I clicked on the tracking number I was directed to this site, which was in the Chinese language. Fortunately, I figured out how to read the site in English. It kept showing the supposed tracking in China, then eventually showing the product arrived in the town where I had the product sent. However, upon contacting the receiver, in that town, they told me they received a harmonica and not the King Charles Spaniel! Also, the email with the notice of the tracking number was from this email address:shopexr .com
After a few more emails to the supposed customer service, asking about my order, I began getting email replies from this email address: pegroupinfo-com.20210112.gappssmtp .com!!
The latest response from this last email reply was asking me to take a photo of the harmonica received, the screenshot of the item I ordered and the tracking number, (which I had stated in all my previous emails.
I have yet to receive any response from this so-called company and their customer support and feel I have been scammed!
They had the nerve to mention how many people on different social sites, (Facebook being one), with satisfied customers. After logging into Facebook, I searched for the name, Burtown .com and found only one comment on a Facebook member, posting about how cute the puppies were. I therefore made a reply comment regarding all the trouble from this company, no product received and my feelings the company is a scam. I wrote that no one should order from this company.
I hope I can contact my card company and get my money refunded, but I don’t believe they will do this. I am out this money, now.
Someone needs to get this website and this company off the Internet. Not just have people write about it, for they will continue to scam people out of their money.

  11. I was scammed with the tablesaw. Too good to be true. Didnt look into it far enough. The advertisement was on Facebook, going under protocolen .com. Silly me.

  12. My wife ordered a bunch of clothing items from orentialls .com. Never received it. Filed a dispute with Discover. Told to communicate with the company and they closed the case.

  13. Aneurum is a scam also offering recliners atb39.98 each, I ordered (2) in gray and not rec’d yet. Ordered them back in January. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. I just found another “Meledo” website called Pronunci .com – I had been looking at laser engravers and typically the cheapest is $175. This one came up at $40.18 so I figured it was a scam. Too good to be true. When I looked at “About Us” page it said the parent company was Meledo Company Limited 372 Southampton Row, Great London, WC1B SHJ, United Kingdom (This is not a returning address) Company Number: 11736866 TEL:442086385417.
However, I couldn’t find it on a map plus searching for the address came up with a number of articles about scams! Searching the Telephone # gave the same kind of results.

    1. the company name I was going to use is MAROIST. I almost submitted an order when I noticed that their contact phone # had too many numbers in it. Then I saw the MELEDO name and decided to google it – it brought me to this site. Thank God I checked. It also had the same info you got, saying they were in London. The wicked cheap prices also sent red flags.

    1. I bought a box with games for the children for €26 45 days ago. It never arrived and they won’t give me my money back. now they tell me that they will send it back to me again and to wait another 25 days. the site and boulule .com

  15. just been scammed by ordered Christmas inflatables 12 of them just received my order through the letter box A PEN ordered through pricebeater and toptvs total scam will never buy anything of Facebook first and last time being sending them emails for 4 weeks I have now given up

    1. you are not the only one i ordered from the same companies pricebeater and toptvs they also sent me pens this company is all over Facebook every day i am leaving scam comment’s every day and i do mean every day Facebook are as much to blame first and last time i buy of Facebook

  16. How do I get my money back from this “so-called” company. I ordered a Christmas tree, and my husband ordered a hand-held welder. Both of these items were ordered through Barnplant AKA Barnblade. Thank you for your help.

    1. To get back your money, you should contact your bank or credit card company and ask them to help you with a refund. If you had paid via PayPal, then open dispute there.

  17. Sadly I just ordered a cozzy human bed from them. I had a bad feeling after I ordered it because I didn’t receive an email confirming my order. Ticks me off, I’m usually very careful about this! The company I ordered from was Fairbuddy

    1. I got scammed too, I ordered the human dog bed. I started digging into this and noticed they change the company name daily on their Facebook postings. Tried the contact email which was not a good email got the failure to deliver notification. Never received anything from the seller no confirmation, nothing but a Hong Kong grocery store showed up on my credit card bill for the same amount of the Human dog bed….very interesting!!

Two years ago I got scammed ordering what was advertised as LL Bean, I ordered canvas totes and things, never got my order credit card company sided with the scammers, as the scammers sent a cheap knock off pair Ray Ban sunglasses which were light weight and would not match the weight of the items I had ordered.

I’ve learned my lesson, only ordering for brick and mortar stores!!

      1. If item you received don’t match with the weight of the item you had ordered, then it’s better you contact your bank or credit card company and ask them to help you with a refund. If you had paid using PayPal, then you can contact PayPal support team and open a dispute as per their guidance to get back your money. You should also get the tracking code details from the post office to show your bank, credit card company or PayPal that the item you received has less weight than the item you order.

  18. I was trying to order some Christmas decorations and they scammed me out of my money. I am 67 years old and living on a fixed income. What can I do to get my money back? I am raising 3 of my grandchildren and have a limited income. It is not fair for people to scam the money out of you that I worked hard for. Please help!!!!!

    1. Can you tell use from which site you did get scammed? We understand that you get scammed by a site with parent company name Meledo Company Limited. But, it will be better if you can provide the name of that site.

And, to get back your money, you can complain to your bank or credit card company and ask them to help you with a refund. If you had paid using PayPal, then you can contact PayPal support team and open a dispute as per their guidance to get back your money.

      Good Luck!

    2. ALWAYS use a credit card and request a chargeback on the items you bought but never received. Also, change your credit card number out of caution as that number is now in the hands of these scammer criminals.

NEVER NEVER NEVER use a debit card online. EVER. Always use a credit card as the banks can claw back, deny future charges and block them at least temporarily until they pop up again in a game of whack a mole.
